EXPOS WHY I ATTEND AND SHOULD YOU?

I attend or exhibit to keep the company fresh amongst those who might come in contact with the clinets I need to do business. It is a good way for small business people just starting and or growing to find a person or company that can help them with their mission. I want to be the first one they think of because they talked to me at the expo and or saw the booth and took information about us.

Expos are a good way for small business and startups to get the information and contacts they need to get started and move forward. Maybe they should have even had the booth in the exhibit. It gives them the ideas and seminars that might be what they need to fill in the gaps between just opening the business doing the work and managing what is going on.

Just to update on this subject, Now with the way things go with business it is even more vital to any size business but es[ecially startups and small business to be attnending as many expos as possible. Of course you should make sure it is something that will either give you contacts for materials your business needs or contacts in your area for neighborhood problems and political help when needed. But most imprtantly they are a easy way to let others know your not just a website that you are here in the city or town you are one of them and you want there support and you are looking to support them. creating the right network will definetly help to grow your business .

  2. Look at the biz-to – biz expos as a way to get the word out to others outside your immediate circle of influence. Do you just attend or become a sponsor or an exhibitor is determined by what you want to accomplish and the budget you are working with at the time. I say go in first time as attendee see who is showing and what type of traffice is coming through then decide did you get enough by visiting and going to the different booths and talking to people in the crowd or would you be better served as an exhibitor? I personally mix it up because the company could go broke having a booth everywhere and quite frankly just not needed. Bring a lot of cards or flyers and work the room that way read the name tags don’t be afraid to talk with others in the crowd. good way to practice cold calling introduction about you and your firm or service.

    Hey give it try you’ll like it or you won”t but you will never know until you try it.
