You know I watched this and yes texting and driving is bad. But there are more ways people are distracted while driving that have seem to go by the wayside. Let me name just a few I have seen this week alone in my travels.
    1. Man eating a bowl of food while driving with his wrist as one hand had the bowl and the other the fork.
    2. Women going through her bag as she drove through a red light. God knows what she needed maybe her glasses?
    3. Man reading a map on his steering wheel almost rear ended a construction site truck.
    4. Not driving but just as bad women on phone walks right out in to traffic to be missed by an inch of getting hit. Does she scream or jump no she stops walking looks at driver and continues her conversation.
    5. Man so focused on making u-turn fails to check traffic and misses getting hit by a bus has nerve to be mad like he had right of way.
    6. Women reaching in back to comfort baby not looking at road and almost hits car in front and to one side. Hello pull over tend child resume driving ya think?
Well these are true and just a few maybe you can add to the list. Texting is not the only form of distracted driving we all do it some kind of way. Let’s be more careful on the road today just because the tech in your car can help doesn’t mean you forget your common sense.
